Canberra's first dedicated 80's bar. Hidden in the basement of a building in Hobart Place in Civic, 88mph has karaoke rooms, arcade games, a light-up dance floor, constant '80s tunes, themed food and cocktails, and plenty of neon lights. Behind the bar are a range of beers and funky cocktails on tap https://aucasinosonline.com/, including Espresso Martinis and Japanese Slippers, but our favourite is a Blue Lagoon. There are three karaoke rooms, ranging for groups from 10-22 people. Rooms can be pre-booked online or booked on the night if available. The karaoke list has been hand selected and is, of course, strictly eighties.
