Situated in Canberra’s north, Abode Gungahlin offers 61 stylishly appointed self-contained, apartment-style rooms perfect for those traveling for work or leisure, large groups and long stay guests.

There are several room types accommodating all needs, including inter-connecting rooms for families or groups, pet friendly rooms (charges apply), and studios specifically designed for people who are mobility impaired. The self-contained apartments include kitchenette facilities, washer/dryer, STAYCAST streaming, bathroom amenities by Ideology and free parking (subject to availability).

With unlimited access to Abode Pantry you will feel right at home. Located near the hotel Reception Desk, our shelves are stocked with a variety of sweets, snacks, ready to eat meals and daily essentials to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Purchases can be made directly with our Reception team. Alternatively, visit Pantry Online to order alcoholic beverages, snacks and ready-made frozen meals, delivered straight to your room.

Located near Gungahlin Market Place, parks and nature walks at Yerrabi Pond, and a short 15 minute distance from Canberra’s CBD, there are countless opportunities for entertainment and exploration during your stay at Abode Gungahlin.

Car parking is free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note, Abode Gungahlin will not accept liability for any accidents, damage or loss incurred.

Adaptors
Australia’s electrical system is 240v, so appliances from the UK and Europe should be compatible with the power points provided. Unfortunately, appliances from the US or Canada will not work. Please contact reception for assistance.

Blankets and Pillows
Spare blankets and pillows are in the storage cupboards in your room.

Ironing Boards and Iron
The ironing board and iron can be found in the storage cupboards in your room.

Tea and Coffee Facilities
Tea and coffee are all complimentary. Reception will happily provide extra tea, coffee and sugar on request in addition to the amenities that housekeeping replenishes daily.

Housekeeping

Abode Hotels provide a full-service room clean every 3rd day of our guests stay. If you wish to receive daily or additional room clean, please ask our reception team on check in or prior to arrival. For guests staying at Abode hotels for 7 or more nights, you will receive one full service clean every 7th day. Guests can access additional kitchen and bathroom amenities throughout their stay at our hotel reception.

Green Clean
At Abode Hotels we are striving to lower our footprint and look after the environment. Our Green Clean does not use any chemicals or power, in an effort to do our part. Help us help the environment and choose a Green Clean during your stay at Abode Hotels.
