Abode Tuggeranong provides apartment-style hotel accommodation, with a variety of spacious room configurations to suit the needs of every guest. A selection of our rooms include fully equipped kitchenettes to create delicious meals with the help of the Abode Pantry; providing for your needs throughout your stay, including food, beverages and other essentials.

Abode Tuggeranong also offers a few accessible rooms, specially designed for the mobility impaired, as well as limited pet-friendly rooms. Situated in Canberra’s south, Abode Tuggeranong is surrounded by a wide range of entertainment, attractions and sporting facilities. Abode Tuggeranong is designed to make you feel you’re in a home away from home.

Everything you need is in your room including spare blankets, pillows and a self-contained laundry. Should you ever need extra amenities, please see reception staff during opening hours, and they will be happy to assist in any way they can.

Early check out

You are welcome to check out any time before 10:00 am. Should you be departing outside of the reception opening hours, please leave your keys in the key drop box at reception.

Abode Pantry

Satisfy your appetite and quench your thirst with our ever-accommodating Abode Pantry, located on the ground floor. Our shelves are stocked with a variety of food and beverage items and other travel essentials. To make a purchase, simply visit reception. Please note that Abode Pantry is only open during reception hours.

Conveniently located, you will have access to hundreds of buses travelling around Canberra. With buses running to and from the city every 5 minutes, it is easily one of the best ways to get around in Canberra.

Room Information

Adaptors
Australia’s electrical system is 240v so appliances from the UK and Europe should be compatible with the power points provided. Unfortunately, appliances from the US or Canada will not work. Please contact reception for assistance.

Blankets and pillows
Spare blankets and pillows are located in the storage cupboard next to your front entrance door. The ironing board and iron are also located in these cupboards.

TV
Free to air television is available on your in room television. To watch free to air television, use the ‘Menu’ option on the TV remote to select your channel. To stream your favourite content from 1000+ apps to your hotel room from your device, select ‘Source’ on the TV remote, change the TV input to HDMI and follow the instructions on screen.

Tea and Coffee Facilities
Tea and coffee are all complimentary. Reception will happily provide extra tea, coffee and sugar on request in addition to the amenities that housekeeping replenishes daily.

Wi-Fi

Access to complimentary and unlimited Wi-Fi is provided throughout your stay.
When connecting to Wi-Fi please select the Abode Hotel Guest network. Once connected, you will be taken to a login page where you should enter the password “abodeguest”. If you experience any Wi-Fi difficulties, please call our Support Desk on 1300 576 369.

Housekeeping

Abode Hotels provide a full-service room clean every 3rd day of our guests stay. If you wish to receive daily or additional room clean, please ask our reception team on check in or prior to arrival. For guests staying at Abode hotels for 7 or more nights, you will receive one full service clean every 7th day. Guests can access additional kitchen and bathroom amenities throughout their stay at our hotel reception.

Green Clean
At Abode Hotels we are striving to lower our footprint and look after the environment. Our Green Clean does not use any chemicals or power, in an effort to do our part. Help us help the environment and choose a Green Clean during your stay at Abode Hotels.
